EU III – now with an extra dose of history
New York, USA (March 27, 2007) - The epic strategy game Europa Universalis III invites players to take on more than 300 years of history and make it their own.
While the game at the start is completely historically accurate with real monarchs and historical characters, country borders, nation strengths and discoveries, once the game is set in motion players will be able to change history by seizing the opportunities presented to them.
One of the modifications now available to gamers aims to change that by sticking more strongly to the historical aspect of the game. This will change the way players interact with history, and will appeal to those who prefer to explore what really happened between 1453 and 1789.
Magna Mundi is a mod for Europa Universalis III that is based on three basic cornerstones:
Adding historical plausibility to the game
Adding depth to the game.
Increasing the difficulty level of the game through a stronger abstraction of the real world.
