Trade group adds IP law expert to senior leadership
The Entertainment Software Association has announced the appointment of Gina Vetere as its new senior vice president, following the promotion of former SVP Stanley Pierre-Louis to president and CEO in May.
Vetere has provided counsel and strategic insight to law practice Covington and Burling LLP for the last six and a half years, with a special focus on IP law and related matters.
Prior to that, Vetere served as the executive director, international intellectual property, Global Intellectual Property Center for the US Chamber of Commerce. She also spent three years working with trade policies related to IP with the Office of the US Trade Representative.
"Gina is recognized as a leader in law and policy," said Pierre-Louis. "We are proud to have one of the brightest legal minds join us. Her wealth of knowledge and diversity of experience will enhance the services and value we provide to our members and the video game industry."
