Podcast joins iPhone-based radio network.

DENVER, CO – EpicBattleCry has joined the Furious Gamer Radio network, the only gaming radio network available through a dedicated iPhone application.
EpicBattleCry, the official podcast of EpicBattleAxe.com, cuts through the crap to deliver the real deal in the gaming industry today. Industry veteran Daniel Kayser (GameTrailers.com, MTV, and Spike TV) is joined by gaming gurus Tony Grice and Brent Adams to deliver an insightful and entertaining look at the week's gaming news, sliced just right, and without all the fluff.
Furious Gamer Radio is a video game radio network that began development in August 2007 and officially launched on February 4, 2009. The Furious Gamer Radio iPhone application launched on March 6, 2009.
Furious Gamer Radio is being built to be the comprehensive video game radio network that the gaming community deserves. “It is our belief that while the gaming industry keeps pace or surpasses the music, television, and film industries financially, the media that surrounds our industry does not follow suit.,” says Furious Gamer Radio creator and founder, Lorin Baumgarten. “So we intend to bring those absent forms of programming forward, such as NPR style shows, panel discussion and historical programming as a few examples, and couple them with the incredible community generated content that is already being produced to create a truly comprehensive gaming radio network.”
In short, Furious Gamer is set to be the most cohesive media outlet that is 100% dedicated to audio content related to video gaming by bringing the gaming industry the varied types of programming it deserves while honoring the community roots from which it comes. The Furious Gamer Radio iPhone application has been developed as a first step in the creation of this network and is currently available through iTunes and on the iPhone and iPod App Store.
