EndWar™ Screening

Tom Clancy's EndWar to be showcased by Ubisoft on the 11th.

Friday 1st August/... Edinburgh Interactive Film Festival announced today that French publishing giant Ubisoft will be flying in two representatives of its Shanghai development studio to exclusively screen the upcoming Tom Clancy‘s EndWar™ at this year’s Festival.

At 6pm on Monday 11th August, Julian Gerighty, Editorial Content Director at Ubisoft and Laurent Malville, Game Content Manager at Ubisoft will be on hand to showcase Tom Clancy’s EndWar™, a revolutionary real-time strategy game designed to realise the full potential of the Xbox 360®video game and entertainment system from Microsoft® and PLAYSTATION®3 and completely controllable by voice.

A chillingly relevant storyline pits superpower against superpower in all-out war—with you in command. You'll take control of the US-led Joint Strike Force, the European Enforcers Corps, or the Russian Spetsnaz Guards Brigade in a single-player campaign or online against friends in a persistent-world Theatre of War mode. Tom Clancy’s EndWar™ goes beyond other war games by letting you use your own voice to control your units, offering you true control of the action at the speed of thought.

A key feature of Tom Clancy’s EndWar™ is that war can be waged at the speed of thought, via the game’s revolutionary voice command system. And instead of the traditional top-down view, those attending the screening will be able to see firsthand how Tom Clancy’s EndWar™ embraces a unique third-person camera that puts the player in the heart of the battle. Watch the devastation unfold as hundreds of units engage the enemy on fully destructible battlefields.

“We’re delighted to be able to show Tom Clancy’s EndWar™ at this year’s Edinburgh Interactive Festival” said Julian Gerighty, Editorial Content Director, Ubisoft Shanghai “EndWar is a revolutionary new war game for consoles and a major new brand in the Tom Clancy universe. It is the result of four years hard work and dedication from the talented team at Ubisoft Shanghai and we think people are going to love it as much as we do.”
