CALABASAS, Calif. (March 17, 2006) - Emergent Game Technologies, a leading game development technology and services provider, today announced new partnerships with four leading providers of game development technology, significantly expanding the capabilities of its soon-to-be-announced product line.

"Our customers are going to be delighted with the power and functionality these new partnerships will lend to their development efforts," said Emergent CEO Geoffrey Selzer. "Our mission is to advance the craft of game development, and as part of that we're constantly working to ensure that our customers have access to best-of-breed solutions through our products, and each of these partnerships reflects that strategy. We're proud to be associated with each of these companies and their products. This is further evidence that the market is validating our comprehensive approach to game development."

The four partnerships:

Allegorithmic Emergent is pleased to announce that Allegorithmic's procedural texturing library, ProFX, is now integrated with Emergent's game engine and tools. This allows Gamebryo users to render brilliant, hand-crafted, high-resolution textures using only kilobytes of storage space, completely removing the need to access the hard drive, CD or DVD.

Emergent also announces an agreement to be a reseller of Allegorithmic's ProFX, with an exclusive arrangement to resell ProFX at a 50% discount off retail pricing when bundled with Gamebryo.

Anark Anark Corporation and Emergent have announced that Anark GamefaceTM, the 3D user interface (UI) development tool and runtime, has been integrated with Emergent's Gamebryo game engine and tools, allowing customers to build dazzling 3D UIs. Voted a 2005 Game Developer Frontline Award finalist, Anark Gameface combines a sophisticated artist-friendly authoring platform with a robust UI-specific tool set. Firaxis Games recently used Scaleform GFC and Gamebryo to create the user interface for its award-winning Sid Meier's Civilization IV.

Quazal Quazal and Emergent announce a new partnership to provide Quazal's products-including Quazal Spark!, the new, ready-to-use lobby implementation that will be launched at this year's Game Developers Conference-to Emergent's growing customer base.
