ELSPA signs with new PR firm
Industry body signs Burson-Marsteller in favour of BHPR
The Entertainment and Leisure Software Publishers Association in the UK has dropped long-running PR firm BHPR as its day-to-day public relations company, instead opting for Burson-Marsteller.
Burson-Marsteller is one of the largest public relations firms in the world, and counts Columbia, Singapore and Argentina amongst its clients, along with Boeing, Sun Microsystems, Sony Electronics and Accenture Technology.
ELSPA had a long standing relationship with videogame specialist Barrington Harvey PR - which it will keep on for 'special projects' - but has recently appointed its own head of communications, former games reviewer for The Times, Tim Wapshott.
The new PR agency begins acting for ELSPA from today, July 1.
