ELEPHANTASTIC!
MINDSCAPE ANNOUNCES BABAR’S ROYAL COIN CAPER FOR PC AND MAC THIS DECEMBER
Mindscape today announced, by royal appointment, the coming of Babar the Elephant King in his very own computer game, Babar's Royal Coin Caper, available for PC and Mac on 9th December.
The creation of popular French children's writer, Jean de Brunhoff, Babar the Elephant first arose in 1931 in the classic children's book L'Histoire du Babar. The story outlines the life and times of a young elephant, separated from his mother at an early age by cruel hunters, who finds his way to France and is brought up by an old lady in Paris. Babar eventually returns to his homeland where he is made king, builds his own city and eventually becomes a father himself.
After initial literary success, Babar was adapted for an animated television series, where it is now screened daily on Channel 5's children's show Milkshake.
Babar is now about to embark on his first interactive escapade as Mindscape launches an original Babar action/adventure title designed to entertain and challenge gamers between the ages three and seven.
The game features nine games of logical thinking, musical creativity and problem solving across Barbars's hometown of Celesteville, as players help Babar to find his lost royal coin collection. Each activity has been designed to encourage the imagination, logic, attention, observation and memory skills of fledgling gamers and with two distinct levels of difficulty, will cater for early beginners and Babar experts alike.
Babar's coin collecting adventures will leave your pre-schoolers all the richer for the experience this winter!
Babar's Royal Coin Caper will be released 9th December for PC and Mac for £9.99.
