El Tacodor: The Web Game
Promo game for Old El Paso named Adobe's Site of the Day.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
January 26, 2010 (Dallas, TX) – Muy Bien! Dallas-based Blockdot received the prestigious Adobe Systems “Site of the Day” award on January 25 for “El Tacodor™: The Web Game” for Old El Paso©.
“El Tacodor” features engaging and humorous minigames related to the ingredients that can be found when making tacos — giving parents a fun and easy way to bond with their children. It’s an experience that mirrors the look, feel, and (most importantly!) the fun of Old El Paso’s offline promotional campaign.
Blockdot’s game developers used Flash to seamlessly integrate the minigames. The game artists assigned to the project used Illustrator and Photoshop to bring to life a festive, playful theme. The end result is an online experience that enhances Old El Paso’s image as a promoter of quality family time.
