EIGHTY COS-PLAYERS MAKE GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS HISTORY!

Sonic the Hedgehog, Yoshi, Lara Croft, Detective Gumshoe and Vincent Valentine were among the eighty character's breaking the 'Largest Gathering of Games Characters' Guinness World Record on the Millennium Bridge, London on Tuesday 18 March!

Dedicated 'cos-players' and gamers donned their best costumes to earn a place in the Guinness World Records Gamer's Edition 2009 and make Guinness World Record history.

Thirty children from Argyle Primary School, Kings Cross dressed up Super Mario, one mini Mario said 'I have had a great day, I have met all my favourite characters - the best one is Tails from Sonic'!

The record attempt celebrates the inaugural Guinness World Record Gamer's Edition 2008 that is on sale now and is bursting with new records, high score statistics and fascinating facts.
