Eidos Interactive to launch first Majesco Entertainment titles June 29th out today
Five new DS titles to hit retail shelves throughout Europe
Eidos Interactive, one of the world's leading publishers and developers of entertainment software, is pleased to announce five new titles for Nintendo DS"· which will launch on June 29th from Majesco Entertainment Company, an innovative provider of video games and digital entertainment products for the mass market.
Developed by Backbone Entertainment, a division of Foundation 9 Entertainment, MECHASSAULT®: PHANTOM WAR is a third-person futuristic shooter where players assume the role of a MechWarrior, an elite fighter trained to control the ultimate war machine of the 32nd century...the BattleMech. Gamers experience fast-action, 3D 'Mech combat on the top screen, while the lower Touch Screen positions them inside the cockpit at the controls.
In Majesco's NACHO LIBRE game, players can play as Nacho or 19 other luchadores, all with their own signature moves, based on characters from the movie. Six modes of play include Story (single-player tied to the movie plot), Team (2-on-2) and Battle Jam (2-4 player wireless brawls). Players can also use the Touch Screen to play eight related mini-games including Nachoball, Bee Swat, Bullrun and Chariot Jump.
F-24: STEALTH FIGHTER is a first-person air combat game for the Nintendo DS with a 4-way wireless multi-player aerial combat system. The Campaign Mode has 20 unique missions with varying targets and objectives, including eliminating the enemy, liberating prisoners and securing diplomacy in the Middle East. This game allows the player to master first-person take-offs, landings, in-flight refuelings, and also harness the power of their F-24 fighter's 20MM Cannon, Sidewinder Missiles and Tomahawks.
SUPER BLACK BASS FISHING is the ultimate fishing experience. Search for over 500 fish from a vast range of different bass species throughout some of the best lakes in the world. The DS Touch Screen allows you to reel in the fish, trail your lure in 24 different ways, and yank your rod back to get that fish into the boat. Via the Nintendo DS"· Wireless link you can take on up to three friends in 4-player fishing competitions. Work your way up to become a Bass fishing champion by competing in amateur tournaments culminating in the National Bass Tournament.
DINO MASTER lets you take on the role of Dave the Digger to hunt for the biggest and best dinosaur fossils in over 35 different puzzle levels set all over the world. Find these fossils by securing the land whilst trying to avoid giant insects. Reanimate the fossils to create your own dinosaurs and battle with other dinosaurs, even fighting against friends via 2-player Wireless link.
All five of these Majesco titles on Nintendo DS"· will be released on June 29th.
