EA TO CO-PUBLISH NAMCO’S DEAD TO RIGHTS™II ON PLAYSTATION® 2 , XBOX® AND PC IN PAL TERRITORIES

JACK SLATE RETURNS TO GRANT CITY – THE HARDEST PLACE ON EARTH

Chertsey, UK , March 7th 2005 -Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS), the world's leading interactive entertainment software company today officially announced plans to co-publish Dead to RightsTMII, the highly anticipated sequel to the 2002 award-winning smash-hit Dead to RightsTM. Dead to RightsTMII is slated for release on the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox® video game system from Microsoft and on PC in summer 2005.

In Dead to RightsTMII, Jack Slate and his deadly K9 partner Shadow are thrown head first into the crossfire between criminal organisations battling for control over Grant City's underworld. The story, which pre-dates that of the original Dead to RightsTM, begins with Jack investigating the kidnapping of a prominent Grant City judge. His investigation exposes a labyrinth of crime, corruption and betrayal...an earlier look at the mean streets of Grant City. Dead to RightsTMII promises intense new gameplay mechanics with over a dozen all new brutal disarm moves, spherical slow-motion diving system, and an arsenal of deadly weapons including Shadow himself.

Dead to RightsTMII is a third-person, story-driven Action-Noir title that delivers diverse gameplay mechanics, cinematic style and Hong Kong-inspired action.
