EA SPORTS ANNOUNCES IN-GAME MUSIC FOR FALL TITLES

Soundtracks Feature Mix of Chart-Toppers and Emerging Rock, Hip-Hop Bands

Chertsey, UK. - September 28, 2004 - On the heels of announcing the blockbuster in-game soundtracks for FIFA Football 2005 and Madden NFL 2005, Electronic Arts (NASDAQ: ERTS) today revealed the line-up of songs that will be featured in this holiday's top EA SPORTSTM titles. Featuring new tracks from the hottest names in rock, hip-hop, punk and pop, the music in NBA LIVE 2005 and NHL® 2005 will have players dribbling and skating harder than ever before.

The songs in the games are selected by EA TRAXTM - the music initiative that EA debuted in 2001. The program is dedicated to bringing gamers today's best music through EA's videogames.

Highlighted by new songs from Will.I.Am, Lloyd Banks, Young Buck and Murphy Lee., the in-game music line-up for NBA LIVE 2005 gets players' hearts pumping as they take to the hardwood. Due to ship on October 5 for the PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system, the Xbox® videogame system from Microsoft, Nintendo GameCubeTM and PC, NBA LIVE 2005 is developed in Vancouver, BC at EA Canada. The exhilarating in-game music will help players dominate the ice every time the whistle blows. Hitting the ice in September, NHL 2005 is developed in Vancouver, BC at EA Canada and will be available for the PlayStation 2 console, the Xbox, Nintendo GameCube and PC.
