Monopoly: Here & Now and Boom Box coming to phones.

LONDON – May 2, 2008 – Today EA Mobile™, a division of the EA Casual Entertainment Label, announced it will be lighting up mobile phones with fun gaming properties from two of the most recognised household names in the world as MONOPOLY: HERE & NOW and BOOM BLOX ™, the first game developed in collaboration between EA and director and producer, Steven Spielberg, become available from all major operators across Europe this spring.

“There is hardly anyone in the world who hasn’t played MONOPOLY or seen a Spielberg movie,” said Tim Harrison, European Marketing Director, EA Mobile. “MONOPOLY: HERE & NOW is the first title to come to market under our deal with Hasbro and the team has produced a fresh and highly polished game that will appeal to both veteran and new audiences. In addition to MONOPOLY: HERE & NOW and BOOM BLOX, EA Mobile is releasing UEFA Euro 2008TM, The SimsTM Pool 3D and Puzzle Paradise. Players can celebrate longer and balmier days by accumulating property, destroying edifices, taking the England football team through to glory, perfecting their cue skills, and exercising their brains as these great games launch across major European carriers during April and May.

MONOPOLY: HERE & NOW

MONOPOLY: HERE & NOW updates the world popular board game with modern settings. With unique localised versions available in 19 European countries, players will be able to buy and sell instantly familiar properties wherever they live.
