EA expected Potter to bring in $120m in fiscal '09

But title pushed back to next summer to coincide with movie release

Electronic Arts expected its latest Harry Potter game to generate around USD 120 million during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2009.

The sum was disclosed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing, following the decision by the company to push back the release of the game from November 2008 to next summer, to coincide with the release of the movie, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

The title is in development at Bright Light Studio and due for release on nine different gaming platforms.
