Dungeon Fighter Online
Open beta launches tomorrow.
Nexon America will open its beta testing of Dungeon Fighter Online to all gamers on September 22. Players interested in playing the exciting action-adventure title can join arcade fight online at http://dungeonfighter.nexon.net.
Players who have signed up and are playing the early access beta will not be affected by this change, other than standard downtime to the servers.
This is a major milestone for the side-scrolling, arcade-styled game, which has millions of users worldwide. Developed by Neople, Dungeon Fighter Online gives players all the excitement of an arcade brawler combined with the features found in popular online role-playing games.
“Video game fighting has never been so fun in an online environment,” said Min Kim, Vice President of Marketing for Nexon America. “Dungeon Fighter Online is like a Molotov cocktail of fun, mixing the fast and furious action of arcade fighting games with an online community and the customization features found in role-playing games.”
Gamers who sign into the open beta will get a chance to choose from five exciting character classes – Fighter, Gunner, Mage, Priest and Slayer – each featuring numerous skills and weapons to enhance their fighting abilities.
Dungeon Fighter Online offers a multitude of gameplay experiences – allowing for players to engage dungeons on their own or questing with a party. Players can also take each other in player-versus-player combat. PVP can be 1-on-1 or team fights ranging from 2-on-2 to 4-on-4 melees. Elimination format pits players against each other one at a time, but when one goes down, a teammate comes in to keep the battle going. Brawl mode leaves all fighters on their own in this skull-cracking, fist flailing, skill casting clash of up to eight Dungeon Fighters at the same time.
