AUSTIN, Texas – September 10, 2009 – As a culmination of the Duels Shadowlands Expansion, Challenge Online Games, Inc. (Challenge Games) begins a massive PvP event for its half a million players to determine the future of the Duels universe ( www.duels.com). The Shadowlands expansion has brought new adventures to the Duels universe, and with this PvP event, each player must take sides. The winners decide the future of the next Duels expansion.

The storyline: The Aenok were summoned to destroy the Shadow, so light shone once again upon the capital city of Phyrra. Unfortunately the Daemon, sworn enemy of the Aenok, have set their eyes on Phyrra, so each faction is recruiting Duelists to champion their cause. The future is now in the hands of the Duelists. New players should complete the game tutorials and then get into the event by heading to the Revolution quest page ( http://www.duels.com/quests/shadowlands).

With half a million players worldwide, Duels is an online strategy game where players build powerful characters based on physical attributes, battle experience, special abilities and collectible items. Unlike many online strategy games which require hours of grinding play to achieve player power and status, Duels is designed to provide compelling in-depth PVP, head-to-head game play in 10 to 30 minute increments, attracting both hardcore and casual gamers for quick-fix gaming.
