Dubai, United Arab Emirates - October 13, 2008 – Today, the organizer of Dubai World Game Expo (DWGE) announced that Weyak powered by Etisalat will be the Platinum Sponsor of the Middle East’s largest and first game exhibition, summit, and championship to be held at Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre in United Arab Emirates from 28 – 30 October, 2008. Weyak powered by Etisalat will showcase its latest online games for Weyak making online game a big part of the Dubai World Game Expo.

In addition to being a Platinum Sponsor of the DWGE, Etisalat will be giving presentations by Mario J. Pino - Senior Manager, Platform Strategy and Management, and Maha Muraish - Manager / Content and Services at Online Game Session and Mobile Game Session during the Dubai World Game Summit alongside multiple panels.

Mario J. Pino is a twenty (20) year veteran in the development and deployment of cable television, satellite, and IP over satellite subscription service offerings, in the development of online systems and services that enable the delivery of media through the Internet in multi-formats to multi-platforms, internationally and in the USA, and most recently helping to define, implement, and launch the digital media strategy for the largest telecom operator in the Middle East and Africa, Etisalat.

Maha Muraish is the Manager of Content and Services of Weyak (Etisalat info-entertainment portal that provides to Etisalat Internet and mobile users with treasure trove of news, games, community services and much more) at Emirates Telecommunications Corporation - Etisalat. In her position she takes the responsibility for managing the over all online multiplayer gaming service targeting internet and mobile end users. Now she is expanding the reach of the online multiplayer gaming to include mobile and introduce new concepts to the service such as MMOG, Pay per play, and much more.
