Copenhagen, Denmark - June 12th, 2008 -- SteelSeries, a leading manufacturer of innovative professional gaming gear, today announced a partnership with the world's largest LAN event and computer festival, DreamHack, based in Jonkoping Sweden.
DreamHack is a brand recognised worldwide for holding the world's largest LAN-party, demo-party and computer festival. DreamHack events are drug and alcohol free, which allows all ages to participate - attracting people who have an interest in computers, gaming, designing, music composition and competitions.
In the winter of 2007, DreamHack officially broke the record* for holding the largest LAN party in the world, successfully attaining 10,544 computers adjoined via a network. Their bi-yearly event includes activities that range from concerts, educational lectures, Go Carting, Bungee jumping to major qualifiers for diverse gaming events that are held around the world.
