Dragonica

The new free-to-play MMORPG Dragonica will be available at the http://www.gpotato.eu gaming portal in English, French and German languages during Spring 2009. Until the launch of the game, the gPotato team will unveil information about the different playable characters one by one. In the spotlight this week: the daredevil Archer.

The third of four classes available in Dragonica, Archers have spent years developing their skills in long-range weaponry, making them the perfect distance fighter and an integral element of any party. Upon reaching level 20, Archers will have to complete a series of quests that allows them to choose which class evolution their path will follow: the Pathfinder or the Arbalist.

The Pathfinder, a trained outdoorsman and hunter, has developed their abilities with traditional ranged weapons such as the bow and arrow or laying ingenious traps to capture their foes. They have also gained the ability to call on animal spirits including the wolf and the phoenix to assist them on their quests, or to summon a siren to

The Arbalist favours the crossbow and the grenade, and has developed their abilities with mechanical weapons and explosives, giving them access to Gatling guns, rocket propelled grenades and calling in air support when stuck in a tight corner. Both Pathfinders and Arbalists will advance into considerably stronger classes as they progress in the game.
