Dragon Quest holds onto top position in Japanese chart
PSP heads the hardware chart, closely followed by Wii
Square Enix DS game Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 has topped the Japanese software chart for another week, keeping Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker at number two.
Sales for the title dropped 59 per cent on last week, but it still sold in high enough quantities to secure number one.
Elsewhere in the top ten, New Super Mario Bros Wii climbed one place to number three with a five per cent rise in sales and Friend Collection went from seventh to fourth place.
Wii Fit Plus rose from tenth to sixth position, and Wii Sports Resort re-entered the top ten from number 16 to number nine.
A quiet week for new releases meant there were none in the top ten this week.
In the hardware chart, PSP hung onto top position despite a big drop in sales - from 59,315 last week to 35,233 this week.
Wii climbed one place to become the second best-selling hardware, and the PlayStation 3 dropped from second to fourth place.
The DSi LL continued to sell strongly and reached third place, while PSPgo fell to the very bottom of the chart with 1464 sales.
