Dragon Quest Heroes is top of Japanese charts

PlayStation 4 rules hardware

This week Dragon Quest Heroes was released in Japan and immediately secured first and second place in the software chart, pushing last week's number one God Eater 2: Rage Burst on PlayStation Vita down to fourth.

Combined sales of Dragon Quest Heroes on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 were 594,749.

  5. [3DS] Yokai Watch 2: Shinuchi - 16,443 (2,513,906)

In hardware Dragon Quest Heroes helped to keep PlayStation ahead of Nintendo, with the PlayStation 4 seeing unit sales rise by 21,402. Vita sales fell but it still managed to keep ahead of the New 3DS XL by 999 units.
