Double Fusion Appoints Media And Entertainment Executive Peter Levin To Board Of Directors
Levin Brings Entertainment and Sports Industry Marketing Expertise to Premier Independent In-Game Advertising Company
SAN FRANCISCO - May 23, 2006 - Leading
independent in-game advertising company Double Fusion has
appointed entertainment and sports industry veteran Peter
Levin to its board of directors. Levin is currently president
of Bellrock Media, Inc., which produces and distributes
entertainment content for emerging platforms, and managing
director of Sedona Capital, U.S., where Levin steers the
fund's investments and partnerships in the new media and
mobile content industries. Levin brings Double Fusion a
considerable wealth of strategic planning and business
development expertise, and leading marketer and brand
relationships, based on his more than 15 years of stewarding
entertainment technology and marketing ventures.
"Double Fusion is an exact match for my strengths - bringing
together cutting-edge technology and a sales team that can
turn these capabilities into winning programs for the world's
leading brands," said Levin. "My colleagues in the
advertising agency and marketing worlds are chafing for new
ways to reach their core audiences, and Double Fusion
provides that answer."
Levin began his career in the Creative Artists Agency (CAA)
mailroom, swiftly moving up to report directly to chairman
and co-founder of the agency, Michael S. Ovitz, in the
corporate advisory group. In 1996, Levin left the agency to
join the Walt Disney Company in the Corporate and Strategic
Planning Group. While at Disney, Levin added to his operating
experience, acting as senior producer for the ABC News and
ESPN Kids products at Disney Online.
After Disney, Levin was Managing Director of investment and
consulting firm Lynx Technologies, where he stewarded and
managed a number of highlysuccessful investments including
Applied Semantics (sold to Google April 2003), GameSpy
Industries (sold to IGN March 2004) and Ask.com (sold to IAC
March 2005.)
Prior to founding Bellrock, Levin was co-founder of licensing
and management firm Quattro Media, where he still serves as a
partner. Levin also serves on the Board of Directors of
Phonebites, Impact Mobile, GamearraY and the Arena Football
League, and is on the advisory boards of Mofactor and MESoft.
Levin manages his love of sports through investments and
ventures: Levin is a co-owner of the Chicago Rush of the
Arena Football League and a partner in Palisades Baseball,
which owns and operates three Minor League Baseball
franchises.
