Gamerholix and Organiq Music are proud to announce a brand new toe-tapping, funky music game for all the family - Doo Wop – available now on iPhone for just 59p (99c). Doo Wop allows you to create your own ‘Doo Wop’ band with cool vocals and groovy backing tracks by touching the cute characters as they dance to the beat.
Scratch the surface of ‘Doo Wop’ and you’ll find a game that is inspired by the music of the backstreets, with a gang of colourful trashy characters who hang on street corners and in alleyways singing harmoniously in a ‘Doo Wop’ style. Each ‘Doo Wop’ character has its own unique vocal harmony which can be combined to create your very own songs.
Controls are straight forward; just touch on the characters to make them sing. Doo Wop has four hip backing tracks to jam over the top of. You can also record your own looping chorus of characters creating your very own ‘Doo Wop’ classic. Watch the characters get into the groove dancing to the beat, as they sing your tune.
Doo Wop is the result of a unique collaboration between two very different companies - Gamerholix (world-class game development) and Organiq Music (chart-smashing music and studio talent) – who met at a Game Republic network event in early 2009 organised through regional screen agency Screen Yorkshire. Doo Wop was most recently successfully showcased at the Eurogamer Expo in Leeds on October 27th/28th.
