DJs Raise The Stakes With Exclusive Bet On Soldier Tournament

Britsoft publisher Digital Jesters confirm their attendance at i24 LAN event, giving everyone the chance to win an array of cool prizes ranging from DJ 'gaming goodie bags' to the latest AMD Athlon processors.

Attendees will be amongst the first people in the world to get their hands on the company's forthcoming FPS, Bet On Soldier: Blood Sport, with a dedicated level designed to show off the game's unique gambling element that makes every bullet count.

Bet On Soldier is set in a fictional universe where war has become the highest grossing form of entertainment for the masses. Two global federations manage the war like a business. Their employees are mercenaries, valued on the stock market and paid per kill. But for the elite soldiers in this war, that pay is not enough.

The "Bet on Soldier" programme was created to entertain and to make a greater profit from the greed of the elite warriors. When two such soldiers compete, wagers may be placed on the outcome... providing a healthy income for battle-hardened veterans and sport for the masses.

i24 is a 3-day celebration of computer gaming, including a huge BYOC (Bring Your Own Computer) LAN party and an unhealthy amount of fun. It all takes place 24-26 June at Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire, with over 900 places for dedicated gaming enthusiasts.
