April 22, 2008 (Dallas, TX) – Dallas-based Blockdot has released its 2008 version of “Discover the World with Matt Lauer,” a globe-trotting gaming adventure featuring the co-anchor of America’s favorite morning program, NBC’s Today show. This is the second consecutive year Microsoft has teamed with Blockdot to turn Today’s popular “Where in the World Is Matt Lauer?” series into an engaging game experience.

In the game, your goal is to track down the exotic locations Lauer has visited; each puzzle represents one of the locations. Answer the multiple choice trivia questions to narrow down Matt's whereabouts. The fewer guesses you use to answer the question, the more points you earn! Each answer will also provide you a search result powered by Microsoft’s “Live Search” technology.

“Discover the World with Matt Lauer” can be accessed at Microsoft’s Live Search Club http://club.live.com/matt_lauer.aspx, the Today show Web site, http://today.msnbc.msn.com/id/3041544, and Blockdot’s gaming portal www.kewlbox.com.
