Discover the Ships of DarkStar One
DarkStar One, Ascaron Entertainment's Space Opera, is
firing its thrusters in preparation for a summer
release.
Boasting a massive universe consisting of over 300 systems,
DarkStar One delivers a wealth of sci-fi action and
adventure. The various systems of DarkStar One are inhabited
by 6 different races; Terran, Mortok, Raptor, Oc'to, Arrack
and Thul. Each of the races have their own unique styles and
technologies, as well as a variety of combat
strategies.
"It's turning out to be the best game of its type that I've
played." - IGN
DarkStar One plays host to over 80 ships, including a range
of fighters, pirate vessels, cruisers, freighters, and
weapons platforms.
"Should definitely be on the radar for fans of space games
everywhere." - GameSpot
The diversity and intelligence of the races and space traffic
within DarkStar One lends a uniqueness and unparalleled
realism to the futuristic setting.
"With its combination of open-ended gameplay, complete ship
customization and a truly massive universe, DarkStar One is a
game that'll pull you in and keep you cruising the spaceways
for dozens of hours." - DailyGame
This week sees the release of the Terran ship details -
straight out of the Galactic Council Universal Library files
- and is the first of a six part feature detailing each of
the races and their ships.
DarkStar One will launch on PC DVD-ROM from Friday 11th
August, 2006.
