London, February 3, 2005: Digital Tables made a show-stopping debut at its first ATEI last month. The London-based company which manufactures cocktail-style, retro-themed tables had two stars on its stand - the product and Tony Hadley, lead singer of 80s super-group Spandau Ballet.
Digital Tables has been selling into the consumer market for a number of years but recently made the transition into the coin-op sector after confirming an exclusive agreement to supply its stylish gaming furniture to the UK's largest leased and tenanted pub company, Enterprise Inns.
"We had an absolutely fantastic show and picked up some very interesting leads," said Stephen Knipe, Managing Director of Digital Tables. "People really appreciated both the retro and the SWP content on our tables as well as the stylish looks of the product. And having Tony visit the stand certainly got the show buzzing!"
Digital Tables showed two versions of the Retro Table Top at the London show: one containing specifically licensed nostalgic video titles, and the other offering the cutting-edge SWP suite, from the Deith Group. The tables feature retro gaming controls, as well as being fully touch-enabled.

COMPANY INFORMATION
Digital Tables is a UK company which designs and manufactures stylish designer furniture integrated with technology. The company was established in 2000 and has supplied products to celebrity homes, designer boutique hotels, and corporate receptions.
Digital Tables was started by Peter Jones who, having designed a retro-styled arcade tabletop for his own use, found himself inundated with requests for more to be made. Before he knew it he was running a business, and Digital Tables has grown from a one-man design studio to a team of experts focused on developing innovative products.
In 2004, Digital Tables turned its attention to the amusement sector. As pubs and clubs are increasingly restyled to reflect changing tastes, Digital Tables recognised that manufacturers in the amusement industry had few products with sufficient emphasis on style. Digital Tables set about creating a product to fill the gap and quickly gained support from some industry heavyweights.
Digital Tables has spent a year researching and developing product exclusively for the pub and club sectors and this will be launched at the ATEI show in January 2005.
