Develop Conference and Expo

Speakers sought for July's developer conference in Brighton.

Tandem Events has announced that the call for speaker submissions is now open for the Develop Conference, which will be held in Brighton from 14 – 16 July 2009.

Europe’s leading event for the game development community, the Develop Conference is now in its fourth year, attracting around 1,200 attendees from 22 territories. It returns next year with a line up of world-class speakers, new conference tracks, themes and sessions, giving delegates the chance to be at the very forefront of the industry as it evolves.

"Game developers across the UK and Europe have come to regard the Develop Conference as the leading event for their community. Each year it attracts a stellar cast of some of the industry's most informative, thought-provoking and entertaining speakers and the call for submissions offers the chance for developers themselves to help shape the programme. It combines lively, topical sessions and debates, plus the prestigious Develop Awards and a host of other networking events, so if developers only go to one event in 2009, it's got to be Brighton in July,” commented Andy Lane, managing director, Tandem Events.

Delegates can submit their proposals for conference sessions via the online form at: www.developconference.com. The submissions deadline is 1 March 2009.
