European gamers challenged to take on the developers in an upcoming tournament.
Cologne, July 13th, 2009 – The Electronic Sports League (ESL), Atari and Gas Powered Games, developer of the realtime tactical game DEMIGOD, challenge all European players to the battle of the gods. The best DEMIGOD 3on3 team, that emerges victorious from the „Battle the Developers Cup“ gains the privilege to compete against the game creators around Chris Taylor. The sign-up period ends on July 17th. The tournament will start on July 19th. The winning team will encounter the Gas Powered Games team on Friday, August 7th. The winners of the „Battle the Developers Cup“ also get handsigned PC versions of DEMIGOD.
The cup will be 3on3, one map. The final round will be played in best of three mode. ESL TV will cover the progress of the „Battle the Developers Cup“ in their DEMIGOD program.
