Hip hop artists and DJs assemble for London preview event.

London, England – September 9th, 2010 – Movers and shakers from the entertainment industry came together at a West End London venue for the exclusive preview event for Konami, Def Jam Enterprises and 4mm Games’ Def Jam Rapstar, the first true interactive Hip Hop music game experience coming November 5th to the Xbox 360TM video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PlayStation ® 3 computer entertainment system and WiiTM.

The packed venue played host to a blistering live performance from British hip hop artist Bashy, some of the UK’s biggest freestylers including Dot Rotten, Sage and Justice, hands-on time with Def Jam Rapstar, as well as a floor-filling DJ set from BBC Radio 1Xtra/Rampage’s Mike Anthony. The eclectic guest list included an unprecedented mix of music producers, talent scouts, tastemakers, bloggers and journalists from the music, games and lifestyle industries.

The ultimate emcee experience, Def Jam Rapstar is the only music game that focuses exclusively on Hip Hop, you and your social networks. Co-published by Konami Digital Entertainment Inc. and Autumn Games, Def Jam Rapstar will offer a software only version of the game that will retail for £49.99 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation ® 3 and £39.99 on Wii, as well as a bundled version that will include software and one wired microphone for £54.99 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation ® 3 and for £49.99 on Wii.
