Cyan Audio Director/Composer Tim Larkin has created the game's original soundtrack which serves as an homage, of sorts, to the entire franchise. Listeners will find an evocative taste of the isolated and eerie moods, the vivid and bursting orchestral productions, and the unique combinations of world music that have been present in past soundtracks combined into a new and invigorating 17 track album, woven together to carry the wonder and beauty of MYST V, and to bring the series to a masterful and worthy end.
An accomplished musician, composer and sound designer, Tim Larkin creates innovative and mood-enhancing soundtracks for videogames, film and television. His recent game titles include Pariah (Digital Extremes/Groove Games), The Incredibles: When Danger Calls (THQ) and UruTM: Ages Beyond MYST®, which received PC Gamer's award for "Best Sound," GameSpot's award for "Best Sound Effects" and a Game Developer's Choice nomination for best "Audio."
