Curse, a Web 2.0 portal dedicated to online games and gamers, has announced a new US headquarters in San Francisco as well as additions to its executive team.
Industry veterans Kurtis Buckmaster and Lars Koschin have been named vice president of marketing and product development and CTO, respectively.
"Our continued growth is great news for us — and it's also great news for the online gaming space in general," said Hubert Thieblot, Curse's founder and CEO.
"Curse is expanding staff to better facilitate MMO user experience and offer new, unexplored revenue streams for development and publishing partners."
General Manager Wilson Kriegel has assumed the duties of executive vice president in addition to his current role.
Curse's centralised hub for MMO gamers boasts of more than 4 million unique visitors each month and over 6 million projected by early 2008. It recently announced more than $5 million in Series-A funding.
