CSports.net Launches New Version Of Its Worldwide Ranking Service
December 2004
CSports.net, the worldwide ranking and statistics service for online games today announced the launch of the latest version of its service.
The website at www.CSports.net has been transformed with new graphics, a customisable home page and new graphing options in an advertising free environment. The site architecture has also been rewritten to allow faster player searches, coloured player name support, more community tools and the headroom for more exciting developments. The site is available free to registered users with additional services available to subscribers.
CSports.net ranks 20 million player names worldwide. It now serves up to 5 million impressions per month from its statistics database and has a registered user base of over 180,000 users. Online computer games players can locate their worldwide ranks and statistics in over 50 games and 3000 modifications.
CSports.net is an immense resource for the online community to check out live statistics on the use of their favourite online games, maps, modifications and game servers. For a small subscription, subscribers get access to further services including personalised rankings, ranking banners and customisation options.
In redesigning the site architecture CSports is now in a position to develop league rankings for publishers of games with online capabilities.
Edward Watson, formerly of The Playing Fields and MD of CSports.net commented "The site is a huge step up from its previous incarnation adding extra functionality to the site in a more user friendly environment. More exciting though is the prospect of working with the publishers to build player communities through the provision of leagues and ranking solutions".
