Cryptic studios, developer of highly successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games announces the appointment of former Cyberlore executive Clarinda Merripen to the position of Vice President of Operations.
Cryptic studios, developer of highly successful Massively Multiplayer Online Games announces the appointment of former Cyberlore executive Clarinda Merripen to the position of Vice President of Operations.
During her eight years employment at Cyberlore Studios, Merripen coordinated information systems, human resources and finance, creating a solid technical infrastructure and streamlining human resource operations.
A regular speaker at the Game Developer's Conference, World Science Fiction in Boston and Women's Game Developer conference in Austin, Merripen is an active member of the Women in Game Development and Human Resource Special Interest groups. She is also a member of the IGDA committees for Business and Quality of Life and contributes to Game Developer Magazine.

Merripen, who joins the company as development on the highly anticipated City of Villains MMO draws to a close, stated: "Two areas in the game industry are growing faster than any other: MMOs and Operations. City of Villains, the companion game to City of Heroes, is due for release in October on PC.
