Crosstown Craze

Online game promoting LEGO Racers Tiny Turbos.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

September 29, 2008 (Dallas, TX) – Dallas-based Blockdot has released “Crosstown Craze,” an edge-of-your-seat racing game for LEGO©, one of the world's leading manufacturers of play materials for children.

The game, which was created to promote the newest LEGO Racers Tiny Turbos product launch, lets players slide behind the wheel of LEGO vehicles with different speed, acceleration, and maneuverability attributes. Drivers with the right stuff can unlock additional vehicles with special codes obtained through game play.

Ready to race? You’re going head-to-head against the computer opponent! Steer your vehicle with your left and right arrow keys, and accelerate with your up arrow key. Be sure to avoid the obstacles – stacks of tires, engine blocks – that will smash up your ride. Cruise over the yellow speed boost icons and you’ll get an extra blast of acceleration!

The game has three rounds of racing. Beat your opponent and you’ll move on to the next round. Win all three rounds and you’ll be crowned the racing champion! But be careful, drivers: Let your vehicle take too much damage – or lose a race – and your driving adventure comes to an end, game over.

With graphics and sound effects that evoke the feel of an electrifying street-racing battle, “Crosstown Craze” brings out the thrill seeker in kids of all ages.

The game is featured on the LEGO site http://legoracers.com and on Blockdot’s gaming portal www.kewlbox.com.
