Criterion to hold student open day
Includes chance to win work experience at the Guildford studio
EA studio Criterion plans to hold a student open day on April 12, giving attendees the chance to win work experience at the Guildford developer.
"As you know, one of EA's key strategies is graduate recruitment - attracting the best students from the top universities," EA told Eurogamer.
"The folks at Criterion Games in Guildford are committed to raising awareness of the career opportunities in games and that's way they are doing something unprecedented. For the first time ever, Criterion is opening its doors and offering a unique opportunity for final year A-level and first-year university students to win a work placement at the studio."
The open day registration is open to A Level and university students, and of those who apply 30 will be selected to attend the open day. The activities will include a competition to build a prototype, with the lucky winners scoring a work experience placement.
The closing date for entries is March 9.
