Contestants Can Visit IGN.com Beginning November 13th Through December 1st to Submit Their Original Artistic Creation For Opportunity of a Lifetime

Grapevine, Texas and Brisbane, Calif., November 13, 2006 - SouthPeak Interactive, a leading independent videogame publisher, and IGN.com, a leading Internet media and services provider focused on the videogame and entertainment enthusiast markets, announced today that IGN.com is sponsoring an original character creation contest for Monster Madness: Battle For Suburbia. Beginning November 13th, contestants can submit their original design of a monster, complete with super powers and weapons, for the chance to be incorporated in the final version of the game for the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows. burbia is expected to be released in spring 2007.To enter, interested participants can visit IGN.com through December 1 and submit their monstrous creation, including a detailed written description. Submissions of the actual image of the monster character must be a JPEG, PDF, or GIF file. Winners will be selected by a panel including members from IGN.com, SouthPeak Interactive, Artificial Studios and Reverb Communications.

Five contestants will be selected to win prizes supplied by IGN.com. The grand prize winner may have their winning monster character submission featured in the final version of Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia with their name credited in the game's manual, along with a 32" LCD high definition plasma TV, Xbox 360, a copy of the game for the Xbox 360 (upon release). The second prize winner will receive a laptop, Windows version of the game (upon release), and the third, fourth and fifth place winners will each receive a $100 Visa gift card and an Xbox 360 and Windows version of the game (upon release).

Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia, developed by Artificial Studios, is an innovative third-person shooter that provides both a compelling single-player experience for up to 4 players per system, and up to 16-player competitive combat. Gamers will be able to slash, shoot and drive through a menagerie of monsters in the campaign mode, or take the battle online for networked cooperative gameplay.
