Cranberry Publishing Ltd launches free emagazine for PC gamers
For immediate release
Following on from the successful launch of 360Zine, the world's first free emagazine for Xbox 360 gamers earlier this month, Cranberry is today pleased to announce the immediate availability of the first issue of PCGZine. Like its sister title, PCGameZine is completely free for readers and doesn't require registration. PCGZine also features some of the best writing from a team of experienced games journalists.
"Our writers have worked on some of the UK's biggest PC games magazines and so we're now bringing the quality of writing and design that you'd normally expect only from a print magazine to readers for free," says Dan Hutchinson, Editorial Director.
Issue 1 is available for download now, and includes a massive 4 page preview of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, which is packed with exclusive video and screens. The issue also includes previews of Maelstrom, Unreal Tournament 2007, Command and Conquer 3, Colin McRae's DIRT and an exclusive interview with the developers of Championship Manager who talks for the first time about the CM2008. We've also packed in reviews of Medieval II, Warhammer: Mark of Chaos, Guild Wars: Nightfall, FIFA Manager, EA Cricket and more besides.
"The response from gamers to the launch of our 360Zine has been brilliant," comments Dave Taylor, Publishing Director, "and we're very excited to bring our second emagazine launch out in the same month. 360Zine's success shows that people are now ready to digest their information in the emagazine format and we believe PCGZine will match the success of its sister title."
Gamerzines are published in the standard PDF format, so readers only require Adobe Reader, version 6 or above, and are guaranteed safe from spyware or viruses. Each emagazine is enhanced with videos, interactive screenshots and animations.
