Focusing on the early 19th century and the Napoleonic Wars, Cossacks II: Battle for Europe introduces new units and buildings, allowing budding generals to take the reins of three new nations in an attempt to establish their supreme rule over the European continent. A number of new historical and historically inspired battles will also be on offer, including the Battle of Borodino and Waterloo, along with new multiplayer skirmishes. Battle for Europe also increases the number of missions and available regions for the massive "Battle for Europe" strategic game mode.

In development by GSC Game World, Cossacks II: Battle for Europe will build upon the realism of the original game, along with adding a variety of new gameplay features. In the game, players can choose from nine nations, including three new additions - Spain, the Great Duchy of Warsaw and the Rhine Confederation.

Cossacks II: Battle for Europe provides a massive Cossacks experience in both single-player and multiplayer modes, including such features as:

10 new battlefields

4 new campaigns

6 new skirmish missions

3 new historical battles (Waterloo, Leipzig and Borodino)

An improved A.I. will let players develop deep strategies utilizing real-world formations made famous during the Napoleonic Wars.

New enhancements to the Battle for Europe mode will have fans playing the role of economist, diplomat and general to become the supreme ruler of 19th century Europe. Battle for Europe, Battle and Skirmish modes will all be playable online over LAN or the Internet.
