One of the world's five best iPhone publishers, by iGameStats' reckoning.
Manchester: Tuesday 26th January 2010 – Independent game studio Connect2Media has been announced as one of the world’s most successful iPhone and iPod Touch developers of 2009. In a report issued by industry aggregator iGameStats, app developers were assigned a position on the leaderboard based on how well its games were received by the gaming press.
Connect2Media tied in third place with PopCap Games, with both studios receiving an impressive 7.68 average over four strong releases last year. The report praised Connect2Media’s strong string of releases, which include the critically acclaimed time-bending puzzler Timeloop, current runaway smash Arachnadoodle and the exemplary puzzle platformer Go! Go! Rescue Squad!
In particular Go! Go! Rescue Squad! has received a slew of overwhelming praise from the gaming press, charting on EDGE magazine’s top 50 iPhone app hotlist and a prestigious Gold Award from mobile review site Pocket Gamer.
