Subscribers Can Now Receive the Magazine Downloaded Directly on Their Computers
Fort Lauderdale, Fla. - Feb. 2, 2006 - Computer Games Magazine, published by the media division of theglobe.com, announced today the magazine is now available in digital subscriptions, http://www.zinio.com/express?issue=124054771. The new format will give readers another way to experience the latest gaming industry news and reviews delivered directly to readers' desktops.
The digital subscription service will be available to subscribers through Zinio Systems, Inc., a recognized leader in digital publishing. Utilizing the Zinio ReaderTM, Computer Games Magazine is downloaded directly on subscribers' desktops. Consumers can read each issue online or offline. The Zinio ReaderTM also enables archiving and storage of the each digital issue as well as full DRM and encryption functionality. Further, the online format will feature active links in advertisements for readers who are interested in additional products or services.

According to the Digital Publishing Report, an industry-wide study of the category, digital publishing has grown at a rapid pace. From June 2004 to June 2005, digital magazines experienced 56 percent growth in circulation; 70 percent growth in deliveries; and 56 percent growth in the number of titles. Additionally, during the same period, digital publishing grew even faster outside the U.S. with 107 percent growth in circulation; 73 percent growth in deliveries; and 138 percent growth in number of titles.
Currently Computer Games Magazine is offered throughout the U.S. and Canada as a print publication. Digital publishing will allow the magazine to expand its readership rapidly by offering it world-wide, where, in places like Europe, digital subscriptions are widely accepted.
