Community service RumbleX goes 2.0

Community tool adds new features, look and functionality

OrangePixel's community service RumbleX has gone into its '2.0' stage, adding new functions and features to support the 55,000 players already using the service.

RumbleX offers a service to developers that allows them to build highscore, messaging and achievement features in to their games for a one-off fee.

Future services for the system will include RumbleX Linked, which allows connection between handsets and PCs, RumbleX Content, which allows new game content to be downloaded to players, and RumbleX Micro, designed to handle payment methods.

OrangePixel has also partnered with clickgamer.com for consumers to buy RumbleX compatible titles, and free AdWrapped versions of the games are available through gamejump.com.
