Combat Arms Europe

Closed beta ends today; news of next stage of testing to be awaited with bated breath.

[November 11, 2008 – Seoul] Nexon Europe Limited, the Europe division of the world’s leading online game company Nexon Group, announced today the end of official closed-beta of its free-to-play, online first person shooter “Combat Arms Europe”.

From 1 pm (GMT+1) today, November 11, all servers for Combat Arms Europe will no longer be accessible for play, but the official teaser site http://combatarms.nexoneurope.com will remain live and continuously be updated with the latest news and schedules for the upcoming open-beta.

“We were overwhelmed by the enthusiastic crowd of beta players, just minutes after we had opened the servers for the CB” says Sung Jin Kim, Manager of Europe Business Team at NEXON.

“The total number of sign-ups and rapid increase in CCU were impressive, and the stable base of daily players throughout the two consecutive weeks was simulative, showing great excitation and anticipation for the upcoming open-beta phase.”
