FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
19 November 2007, Budapest, Hungary
3D Brigade, Eastern-Europe's leading art outsourcing studio provided several high quality in-game character models for The Witcher, the dramatic-fantasy role-playing game by CD Projekt RED. To celebrate the game's Hungarian launch, the company is releasing a highly collectible 'The Witcher' postcard set in limited quantities.
3D Brigade was selected for its high quality art solutions for interactive digital entertainment products on both PC and the next generation videogame platforms. Its competitively priced services are married with a strict quality control, and the company has a large enough internal staff (50+) of Eastern-Europe's top talent to manage any kind of art and asset outsourcing.
The work on the in-game character models and textures for 'The Witcher' required three months of 10 artists and demanded unusual attention to every detail. Over 20 high quality models and variations were delivered in true next generation quality.
"The Witcher's in-game models are incredibly beautiful and realistic," said Michal Kicinski, CEO of CD Projekt, "This wouldn't have been possible without the talent and help of our partners from 3D Brigade."
"For 3D Brigade it was a real challenge to work on a product with such impressive artistic qualities," said John Z. Vamosi, president of 3D Brigade. "We have a blossoming relationship with the developer, and The Witcher became a beautiful addition to our portfolio - now we would like to give something back to CD Projekt RED's grand vision," he added.
The free postcard set can be requested directly from 3DBrigade, with sending your mailing address* in e-mail to thewitcher@3dbrigade.com. This fantastic memento is released in limited quantities, so inquiries are accepted on FCFS (first-come, first-served) basis.

The Witcher transcends traditional fantasy role-playing by throwing players into a unique world rife with political intrigue, in which the lines between good and evil are blurred. Based on the world created by best-selling Polish author Andrzej Sapkowski's novels, The Witcher casts players as Geralt, a legendary monster slayer and master swordfighter with supernatural abilities and reflexes. The Witcher presents a fresh approach to traditional role-playing, blending an expansive, twisting plotline - in which the impact of individual decisions can drastically alter the outcome of the game - and fast-paced combat against a wide variety of foes. Using advanced graphics and physics systems, The Witcher delivers an intriguing story, multi-faceted RPG options and brutal action to engulf all players who dare.
