Cohort Studios
Scottish development studio highlights its E3 showing.
11th June 2010, Dundee, UK - The management team at Cohort Studios, an independent developer of video games for console formats, has outlined ‘what to watch’ at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, being held between the 15th and 17th of June 2010 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
Lol Scragg, CEO, Cohort comments: “We’re eagerly anticipating the announcements that’ll be made by the major platform holders at this year’s E3. Everyone’s expecting to find out what Microsoft’s launch line-up will be for Natal/Wave and we’re very excited to see how Sony will outline the launch of PlayStation Move - which is obviously incredibly relevant to us and our work on The Shoot.” He continues: “Even though we’re not expecting any new motion gaming announcements from Nintendo, the presumed reveal of the 3DS should be fascinating, as well as the 3D announcements we can expect from Sony. We’re also keen to see how OnLive is progressing in the light of its recent spate of deals with ISPs and infrastructure owners and, of course, there’s always the wait to see if the wild speculation about a new PSP model will bear any fruit.”
Cohort Studios is currently finishing off work on The Shoot, its PlayStation Move title running on Cohort’s internally-developed engine, Praetorian.
