Metrowerks Accelerates Game Development for the "PSP(tm)" Platform with Release of Comprehensive Development Suite and Hardware Support
Tokyo Games Show 2004 - TOKYO - September 24, 2004 - Developers can now create game titles for the innovative Sony Computer Entertainment "PSPTM" platform with a development solution from Metrowerks designed to speed game creation and fully leverage the platform's hardware.
Metrowerks, a subsidiary of Freescale Semiconductor, Inc., will demonstrate the features and capabilities of CodeWarrior Development Studio for PSPTM, Version 1.0 at the Tokyo Games Show 2004 on Saturday, September 25, 2004.
Available immediately, the studio simplifies game title creation by offering:
- a stable, market-proven compiler that enables the creation of compact, high-quality object code;
- support for Sony Computer Entertainment's communication protocol;
- the ability to work within either the native CodeWarrior development environment or the Visual Studio.NET environment, and
- a C/C++ debugger that provides an intuitive graphic interface for flexible and accurate code visualization.
