Codemasters has hired three senior execs for its US operations as the publisher ramps up its presence in the region.

Former Konami COO Geoff Mulligan will take the role as president of US operations, with another ex-Konami exec, Catherine Fowler, becoming senior VP of publishing.

Joining the team as VP of marketing is Charles Belfield, who previously held executive positions at Capcom and Sega.

"Getting the right management team in place was a crucial step in laying the groundwork for future growth in the North American market," said CEO Rod Cousens.

Mulligan added: "A strong US operation is essential in turning Codemasters into a truly global force in the gaming industry.
