Coconut Lizard hires six Epic developers
Programmers, artists, QA and director join as studio teases more recruitment news to follow
PRESS RELEASE: Coconut Lizard just added to their growing development team.
Lee Clark joins as Technical Director, formerly a Lead Programmer at Epic Games, working on PS4, and will be helping to drive the expansion of Coconut Lizard as it takes on new development contracts and increases the help given to existing clients.
Also joining are: Steve Dietz as Technical Artist, formerly a Senior Artist with Epic; Gary Phelps as Lead Quality Assurance, formerly Senior QA at Epic; Gareth Martin as Senior Programmer, held the same title at Epic; Bruce Nesbit as Senior Programmer, held the same title at Epic; Josh Scott as Quality Assurance, held the same title at Epic.
Managing Director of Coconut Lizard, Robert Troughton, former General Manager of Epic Games UK (formerly Pitbull Studio, prior to the 2014 acquisition), had this to say:-
"Lee was incredibly important within Pitbull Studio, helping cement our relationship with Epic Games. I've worked with Lee for nearly 10 years, across several studios, and look forward to working with him again."

With the significant experience and talent forming at Coconut Lizard, it's very clear that big things are ahead for the studio.
Further hires and additions to the team will be announced in the coming months - but things are certainly looking very epic at Coconut Lizard.
