Christian Sauerteig appointment
Promoted to head of TGC's newly merged marketing and sales dept.
Berlin, 23rd February 2009: TGC – The Games Company is expanding the area of responsibility of Marketing Director Christian Sauerteig. Within the course of its growing internationalization and expansion the Berlin-based publisher has placed the two departments, Marketing and Sales, under joint leadership.
In the newly created management position Director Marketing & Sales, the industry expert will, with immediate effect, be responsible for all marketing and sales activities of the publisher and will report directly to the CEO, Markus Malti. Besides successfully marketing the high-quality multimedia platform portfolio Sauerteig will also be responsible for expanding the worldwide sales network further and creating strategic alliances.
Markus Malti, CEO of TGC, sees great potential for the ambitious future plans of the Berlin publisher in the newly created position: ‘With the position of Director Marketing & Sales we are capable of utilizing the synergies between both departments even more efficiently and can position TGC on the international stage even stronger.
