Cherry Blossom donations
Buy petals in games to donate to Japan relief.
WHAT: In addition to the $3.6 million donated by Sony Corporation to the relief efforts in Japan, Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) has specially created in-game items that players can purchase to support those affected by the tragedy. Players in participating games can purchase a Cherry Blossom* (alternative items will be available in Magic: The Gathering - Tactics™ , Star Wars Galaxies™ and PoxNora ®) via the in-game marketplace that will be placed in player homes to raise awareness and memorialize the tragedy. SOE will donate $10 for each Cherry Blossom or special item purchased between March 25 th and March 28 th to the American Red Cross** to help in the relief effort.

WHERE: Participating SOE games include EverQuest ®, EverQuest II, EverQuest II Extended, Free Realms ®, Star Wars ® : Clone Wars Adventures™, Magic: The Gathering - Tactics™, Star Wars Galaxies™, and PoxNora ®.
